The adaptibility of the female body is impressive. The female body goes through a lot of changes in a lifetime. It must adapt to these changing circumstances in the best possible - healthiest way.

If this adaptation is not done in its entirety, many problems and diseases can occur. To prevent this, we offer help for a variety of situations.

As soon as a little girl has her first menstrual period - on average around the age of 10 to 15 - the first big change takes place. After ovulation, if conception does not occur, the inner wall of the uterus (the endometrium) peels off and is discharged with bleeding. At this time, to trigger menstruation, the levels of the two female sex hormones drop. From the first day after menstruation until ovulation, oestrogen starts to be produced (follicular phase), while the endometrium is rebuilt (proliferation phase). The progesterone starts to be higher until the next menstrual period starts (luteal phase). Both hormones decrease during menstruation.

From the first menstrual period onwards, they have to cope with fluctuating hormones and bleeding every month. This requires an incredible amount of adaptation, often too high estrogen levels and low progesterone levels (estrogen dominance) can upset this balance. Very common is polycystic ovary syndrome (where the surface of the ovary thickens and remnants of this thickened wakk from a cyst) - caused by an excess of male sex hormones (androgens). Both problems can lead to infertility, endometriosis (uterine lining also found outside the uterus). So balance is very important. We offer a range of hormone balance supplements to help prevent or treat these problems.

Many hormones also change during pregnancy, with estrogen and progesterone being produced at huge levels to help the baby develop until the placenta is formed. And the hormone prolactin is essential for breastfeeding. During pregnancy and breast-feeding, the needs for many vitamins and minerals change, with the B9 vitamin folic acid being the most needed. This is why it is important to choose the right prenatal vitamin.

As we age, oestrogen levels decline and menopause sets in, where menstrual periods, which used to be monthly, stop, and the levels of several other hormones (serotonin, insulin, etc.) are disrupted along with oestrogen. We also offer supplements to help prevent early menopause and relieve the disconfort associated with menopause.
